Rooster Rock State Park Nude Beach

This beach has the longest legal nude use record of anywhere in the US! There is also two DiscGolf courses here in case you want to dress! Three holes of the east course are on the path to the nude beach but alas, nude DiscGolf play is not currently allowed. There are some looky lous around but illegal behavior is promptly turned into the rangers now and arrests made! Hooray!! Check for the radio channels to use with the ranger. Sand Island is also in the nude section but sometimes you might be hassled a bit by the boaters. We have been there a few times and have always managed to have fun in spite of the minor problems so go and help reclaim your beaches!!!

Directions: Take the Number 25 exit on Interstate 84 (25 miles east from where I 84 starts in Portland!) Pay your $3.00 State Park fee, go to the east end of the Parking lot. Continue hiking east and cross over to the island. The whole island is clothing optional as is the facing beach. It is usually well signed but as always vandals will try to destroy anything nice. Please pack out your trash! Maybe even a little extra if you can, as we want to keep OUR beaches the PRIDE of the Oregon parks system!! This is the only way we will likely get more!!
